POINT HISTORY
- International
Trade Points (ITPs) come as a result to an international thinking which
comes from the United Nation Development and Trade Conference (UNCTAD)
which concluded in Columbus CarTagena in its eighth cycle in 1992.
- During this conference
UN recommended by raising the efficiency of the international trade
through its contribution in the field of trade, supporting the medium
and small projects in the developing countries through the offering
of helping, facilities and trade services through the using of the modern
technology means.
- One of the conference
results was the establishment of ITPs which depend on the electronic
communications and connected with internet (G.T.P.NET).
- Egypt agreed on
these recommendations in 1993 and in 1994 was the official inauguration
of ITPs in Columbus city (Ohio) in USA by the attending of 56 ITP representatives
- In Jun. 1997 Alexandria Trade Point Opened its Door
